Ensuring that the specification of the CCD products are suitably defined and agreed with customers before production and then demonstrating that the product meets or exceeds specification when delivered. Project management of Liquavistas activity within the joint Videoflics project. The aim of the project was to integrate the electro-wetting frontplane technology developed by Liquavista, with the O-TFT (plastic) backplane of Plastic Logic to produce demonstrator sized colour, video capable, reflective displays.

Documenting the process Plastic Logic used to fabricate their O-TFT backplane and E-ink frontplane e-reader. Using Nimbus Control to map the process and package the documentation used to completely define the process for transfer from small scale production in Cambridge to pilot production in Dresden. Using Sharepoint and Infopath to implement quality systems into some of the technical processes used by the design and process groups.

Process development and materials characterisation for quantum dot based photonic devices.

I was responsible for groups of engineers developing processes for OLED materials deposition and patterning, cathode deposition and encapsulation. I was a key member of the team who designed and built CDTs pilot display production and technology development centre in Godmanchester. A significant part of that role was to develop, document and package yielding fabrication processes for transfer to licensees.
