This new role encompassed the whole Golf Club Operation, duties include, but are not limited to the following;- Completing weekly business reports for the owner of the Club.- Forecasting future business, and preparing action / marketing plans in weak areas for a business taking in excess of £1.6 Million PA.- Preparing all weekly income and till reconciliations, for the accountant.- Continuing recruitment and development of staff with a current team of 50.- Performance managing staff and procedures, to ensure the Club continues in the strategic direction required by the owner.- Initiating and developing new business ideas to maximise revenue and usage of the Clubs facilities with the help of my Department Managers.- Project managing all large events.- Continued product and supplier work to ensure effective purchasing and a good Gross Profit.- Ensuring that the Club complies with all statutory and local government legislative requirements (including Licensing, Health and Safety at Work, COSSH, and Employment etc.). - Identifying and recommending improvements of the Club from minimal spend through to Capital Expenditure projects. - Continued building of relationships with Members, Corporate Clients and Businesses.- Maintaining the feel and balance of the Club House, whilst being mindful of the Members views, and the business profitability requirements.
