During my last two years of High School, I attended the vocational school Butler Tech and enrolled in their tech prep program. There I gained valuable experience in the information technology field and credits that I went on to use in college. I also competed in competitions for Business Professionals of America. In the 2014-2015 school year, my friends and I won 6th place at nationals for the Network Design Team competition; after winning first at state and regionals. After graduating high school, I moved straight into college, taking classes at Miami University and enrolled to complete a bachelors degree in software engineering. I have since completed this degree in 2020 and gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience on programming and working in teams. At Miami, I was exposed to a number of languages, including C++, Java, Python and more. C++ has become my favorite language to work with and what I would use on projects in and outside of school.
