As General Manager of Operations and Logistics at ORAFOL Australia, Chris O’Bryan leads his team of nearly 50 people with the strategic edge that three decades in the industry delivers.Encompassing Asia Pacific, Chris oversees his teams across five Australian sites in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, with a new branch recently announced in New Zealand. Over the last five years, Chris has been actively involved in building this team from the outset, onboarding key members, with the goal of establishing a strong, committed workforce capable of delivering powerful results. This has contributed to the double-digit business’s growth year on year.Chris sits on the Executive Committee of ORAFOL Australia and maintains strong relationships with staff and stakeholders.Chris’s passion for his people and the ORAFOL products has seen him drive the relocation of four of the five Australian sites to new and improved premises to accommodate business growth and future planning.Chris has helped facilitate the introduction of the ORAFOL Creative Hub training facilities in Sydney and Melbourne, with one soon to open in Adelaide and Brisbane. With a focus on building brand awareness and reputation, these facilities educate customers on the ORAFOL products, enabling them to experience the product and possibilities first-hand. Across his career, Chris has excelled at delivering solutions, people management, and fine-tuning operations through the development of processes, procedures, and compliance. Early on, in his initial role with Graphical Group as Warehouse Manager, Chris restructured the portfolio and increased warehouse productivity by 20%. Chris later rose through the ranks of Spandex Asia Pacific becoming National Operations Manager after five years as Operations Manager. He excelled at SAP implementation, reducing inventory whilst maintaining double-digit growth and relocating plants in QLD, VIC, and WA without business closure.In his current position, Chris continues to oversee his teams responsible for all aspects of purchasing, planning, freight, and logistics, including WH&S, working to budgets, and ensuring quality customer service.With a long history of connecting and engaging with teams, peers, and suppliers, both locally, regionally, and overseas, Chris’s long-term relationships are an asset he maintains.
