One of the founding partners of Embedia Technologies Corp, Chris Ohlmann is a leading developer of building automation systems. As the CEO and Managing Director, his proven abilities in the areas of leadership, organizational management, and corporate governance, in addition to his hand-on engineering contributions, have helped keep Embedia at the forefront of innovation for energy efficient development by making new smart building concepts into feasible realities. Not afraid to get his hands dirty, Chris comes from a Computer Engineering background with a focus on hardware and has extensive experience in the field of Electronics Engineering. Previous work as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Embedia as well as his contributions to physics research projects through his involvement at TRIUMF have contributed to a skill set that includes: Electronic and Mechanical Design, Industrial Design Management, Design for Manufacture (DFM), Electronic Assembly, Production Management, Test, Process Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis.
