I am currently on secondment as a Franchise Support Manager, gaining invaluable experience working alongside our franchise team. Responsibilities include the training of the store teams, working with them to ensure they fully embrace our processes, and advising our partners to ensure their store is a huge success. I am a high performing store manager with 21 years food retail experience. My passion is to run a store at the highest standards possible for our customers and members, with an engaged team by my side. I have a proven track record for improving store profitability by driving sales and limiting loss. Alongside managing a successful store, I also enjoy fulfilling these roles:Buddy Manager - I have supported many projects, delivering new and refitted stores, and have also supported teams through the store disposal process. As a buddy manager I support teams through the entire refit journey, from initial store set up right up to launch day and beyond, working to overcome any issues along the way. Colleague Voice rep - Gathering insight from our store teams and feeding this back to help create a better working environment for everyone. Having been a colleague voice rep for over 5 years, I have built up a great network, giving me the leverage to really make a difference for our frontline colleagues. Until recently, I have also been a Community Member Pioneer - A hugely rewarding role, bringing our community vision to life by forging strong and lasting relationships with the communities we serve. As a member pioneer I worked closely with our local causes, ensuring they got the most out of working with us. I was extremely lucky to work with a hugely diverse community, supporting with everything from local litter picks, to community cinemas, to helping the homeless. In my own time my fiancé and 2 daughters are my world and we love getting outdoors and exploring together, whatever the weather! We are National Trust members and truly make the most of it!
