With over 35 years of senior executive leadership experience across the information technology, telecommunications, and music sectors, Chris is a highly respected non-executive director, independent adviser, and business leader. He is the Managing Director of Pearce Advisory, a boutique consultancy that provides strategic advice and solutions to clients in the government, not-for-profit, and private sectors. Chris' key areas of expertise are in strategy development and execution, leadership development, stakeholder and engagement management, board and senior management governance and regulation oversight and business growth initiatives.Chris has a rare combination of success and achievement at the highest levels in both commercial and public sectors. He served as a Federal Member of Parliament for almost a decade, including a term in the Federal Ministry as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, where he had regulatory oversight responsibilities for the financial services industry and other portfolio responsibilities. He has developed and acquired high-level literacy and knowledge of technology and digital transformation capabilities, including cyber security, artificial intelligence, mobility, and enterprise solutions. He strongly advocates and believes in the power of technology and education to improve human existence.Chris is an Adjunct Professor at the Deakin University Business School, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute.
