Job included auditing of claims files to ensure an excellent quality product and provide individual training where areas of opportunity presented. Liaison between York and carriers, MGAs, brokers and employers. Special projects include mass lien resolution projects to reduce case loads, special on-line training to multiple offices via webinar and Power Point presentations. I helped train adjusters and managers on the special handling needs specific to individual clients. I also ran weekly and monthly reports to help increase productivity and quality. Administration and management of all aspects and phases of workers’ compensation claims, including catastrophic loss. Job duties include investigation, timely administration of benefits and file reviews for middle market clients. Position required evaluation, management and negotiation of complex claims, and communication with management and/or client for concurrence on reserving, action plans and settlement. The demands of the position also involve close work with field case medical management, defense and subrogation counsel, structured settlement and brokers.
