Responsible for all of the financial reporting and budgeting including accounting for all of the retail operating activities as well as all of the development activities. Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services

Act as the sole liaison within the controller function to the Chairman, Chief Administrative Officer and CFO of a $30 billion REIT by maintaining forecasts, responding to all management ad-hoc requests and external investor inquiries across a variety of deliverables.• Develop the overall presentation, monitor against due dates and issue the company’s $1.6 billion EBITDA annual budget and semi-annual reforecast while ensuring the division budgets are comprehensive within the scope of the budgeting IT sources (DYNA and REALM) – duties also include publishing and presenting the final product to senior management.• Review division monthly management reporting and consolidate results to include comprehensive key performance indicators, actual versus budget variances, projected results and wide-ranging executive level explanations.• Cross – team member with SEC reporting to ensure all aspects of the quarterly (10Q), annual (10K) and one-off (8K) public filed documents were reconciled and presented in conjunction with all internal projects and external presentations.• Review press releases for financings, acquisitions and dispositions and support the earnings call script process.• Provide accretion/dilution EBITDA, net operating income and per share financial analysis for potential acquisitions and dispositions, prepare the company’s net asset valuation, provide detailed financial data for all investor presentations and other ad-hoc financial projects.• Develop and refined the company’s financial Board package which included actual period and projected results, peer metrics on stock price and net asset value performance using Thomson One, SNL Financial and Green Street databases, three year company – wide projected cash, capital expenditure and debt balances, and internal net asset value based on cap rate and income scenarios.• Liaise across various functions to manage and further increase the breadth of management processes.
