Having been a landlord for over 40 years and the recipient of the very worst customer service the letting and estate agency sector can provide I decided to set up and operate my own property letting business so started to look around at the options that were available. After extensive research I decided the franchise option was the best way forward so looked at number of franchise companies before eventually choosing the Multi Award winning Martin & Co. An existing Martin & Co franchise business became available in Exeter late in 2011 and in February 2012 I purchased the business.In our first year not only have we have been shortlisted for the ESTAS Southern Regional customer Service award (the only Exeter based business to have achieved this) but we have set a new record in the number of properties Martin & Co (Exeter) have successfully let. We have now expanded our service to Property Sales specialising in the Buy to Let sector and have recently moved into much larger shop in South Street.
