About Christopher Petrus
I joined the Air Force in 2003 and after training was stationed at Malmstrom AFB, Montana from January 2004 through August 2014. While there, I was trained to maintain the Minuteman III ICBM weapon system through periodic maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the launch facilities electrical and environmental systems. I served as a Technician, Team Chief, Instructor, and Quality Assurance Evaluator during this time.In August 2014, I was sent to Ralston AB, Germany where I spent 2 1/2 years maintaining the Weapon Security and Storage Systems throughout the European Union.In February 2017, I was stationed at Minot AFB where I was assigned as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Power, Refrigeration and Electrical section. After 2 years in this position I was assigned as the Section Chief for the Facilities Maintenance Section in charge of facilities maintenance of 150 ICBM Launch Facilities. I then spent 6 months as the Quality Assurance Chief Inspector followed by being assigned as a Squadron Production Superintendent, where I currently serve.
