About Chris Pinter

I've spent the last 10+ years in advertising, branding, and identity. I've worked to help breakthrough start-ups such as Warby Parker, Chegg, and Dig Inn get their visual footing and marketing voice. As well as helping historic titans like Target, Cinemark, and JBL undergo a brush-up and launch sub-brands within their umbrella. Currently, I am working as the lead designer at Framebridge. Overseeing a variety of channels including retail, digital, paid, social, out-of-home, and seasonal campaigns.In 2019 I received my Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art and maintain an ongoing studio practice where I create abstract paintings and drawings. I've shown my work in Detroit, Chicago, and in online exhibitions. In addition, I also write for Runner Magazine (Detroit) where I have a recurring column of art reviews.

A new way to approach senior care.•Design direction for Cinemark: Working with the talented team at Doner I was a part of a crew of amazing designers and writers who overhauled the brand identity of Cinemark, including their marketing messaging, logo, brand identity system, and the interior of their theaters.Selected clients include Chegg, Cinemark, Grove Collaborative, High TIde, Dig Inn, Friends at Work, Olu & Company, Brand Bureau, Freeda, Red Antler, and Doner.

    I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with the amazing team at Friends at Work, exclusively on Chegg. Chegg is revolutionizing the way we approach education. With a multi-tiered platform, they offer a variety of services for students of all ages on their educational journey. Empowering them by offering affordable access to tutors, practice tests, books, and study help. Key Roles:•Art Direction: I worked closely with our creative director to develop a nuanced visual system of photography and video assets that allowed Chegg to communicate effectively to a diverse global audience.•UX: Our creative team was embedded closely with Chegg's team of developers to aid in the roll-out of a new signed-in experience for its users. This included fresh user flows, new pages, and visual treatments.•Brand strategy: Strapped with some of the most farsighted minds in the game, we developed a strategy for Chegg's development over the long haul, and exposed new opportunities for them to make their presence known outside of a digital-first platform in the form of long-format digital content, physical activations, and authentic social engagement.
