Chris has 18 years of design experience in the aviation, healthcare and processing facilities. He is an expert in various BIM software applications and is skilled in model creation, standards, conceptual renderings, model coordination, creating coordinated BIM models and construction document sets. Chris’s ability to solve design problems and see these through in a coordinated manner in the BIM documentation process brings a valuable asset to any project. His cutting-edge knowledge of BIM developments will be tremendously supportive to any program. His primary responsibility is implementing BIM, design review/clash detection and design-to-cost technologies. He is experienced in AutoCAD and Revit platforms. He is fluent in multiple file formats, delivering packages compatible with a variety of client software. He also has highly specialized experience in both project visualization and analysis, and web-enabled project delivery environments.Chris’s background as an architect provided him with a firm design base prior to migrating to BIM Management. He understands building construction and the importance of accurately modeling various systems and their respective coordination. This knowledge, combined with Chris’s understanding of BIM and ability to merge multiple models is a valuable asset for any project, especially terminal facilities that require packing multiple systems into often tight ceiling spaces. Chris is a member of the Autodesk User Group International (AUGI), participating in discussion and support forums related to Autodesk programs. A few of the programs include Revit, Civil 3D, and Dynamo. AUGI met at Autodesk University annually to discuss and provide the latest technology updates. On several occasions, Chris teamed up with Denver International Airport’s Digital Facilities & Infrastructure Manager and Autodesk’s Senior Principal Major Projects to co-teach classes about the automation validation tool, which monitors project model health. Chris also taught at the Digital Built Environment Institute annual “Bilt-ANZ” conference in 2019, focusing on project startup through the use of Dynamo. The topic of automation was discussed, specifically how to more efficiently initiate new projects and their startup tasks and space planning. In 2020, Chris was awarded the “Collaborator of the Year Award” by Revizto, honoring Chris’s use of Revizto to increase project efficiency.
