Chris is currently Distinguished Engineer and Senior Director of Cloud Architecture at Comcast where he leads a team focused on accelerating cloud adoption across the enterprise.The cloud architecture team runs Comcast’s Cloud Center of Excellence that defines the cloud governance model and enterprise cloud strategy, and provides technical architecture, cloud adoption and cost modeling advisory services to hundreds of product and engineering teams across the organization. The communications and enablement team markets our cloud platforms and services and works to build cloud maturity in our engineering teams by providing training and building community around cloud.In previous roles at Comcast, he was responsible for engineering large scale batch and streaming big data analytics platforms on AWS and OpenStack servicing a broad array of engineering and product use cases.Prior to Comcast, he served as Director of Product Management and Professional Services at Airclic, a SaaS mobile supply chain technology company. There he led the definition and delivery of products that transformed supply chain and logistics processes, and ensured the successful implementation of those products within organizations. He has a background in software development and enjoys teaching including serving as a former member of the teaching staff for Harvard's CS50 Introduction to Computer Science.
