Chris Proctor is a Senior Civil Engineer and Design Manager with over 20 years of professional civil engineering practice. Chris is a Registered and Chartered Professional Engineer. Chris is PROCIVIL Consulting's Principal Civil Engineer and Company Director and provides leadership and technical guidance to a highly successful and talented team of professional civil design engineers.As a specialist in civil engineering design, leadership and management, Chris is trusted to deliver civil infrastructure and development design services to state and local government, land development and transportation sectors. Chris moved to Melbourne in 2005 to work as Civil Design Engineer and later Project Construction Engineer on the iconic Eastlink Freeway project, a 40 km long, 6 lane dual carriagway with twin tunnels, in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Eastlink was Australia's largest project at the time and remains the biggest urban freeway constructed in Australia. Chris brings further experience from his time working on significant engineering projects in Queensland and New Zealand. Chris has worked within state and local government, for global and local consultancies and construction contractors. Chris provides considered, innovative and practical engineering decision making, combined with an innate relational approach of commitment to client, effective communication and project collaboration. Chris' most important and privileged role is being husband to Katie and Dad to Grace, Abby and Charlotte.
