I am an Engineer with 30 years experience in varied Industries. Nowadays I operate primarily in Management roles. I maintain links with Academic centres either through study, mentoring, external examiner roles or facilitating work experience for students. I have a passion for Environmental issues (particularly plastic pollution and Greenhouse gas emissions). One of my roles is acting as Health and Safety manager which I take very seriously indeed. I am currently trying to get to grips with the incredibly enormous topic of IoT. The main market spaces I am active in are Water/Waste water, Food-Dairy-Beverage, Gas detection and Environmental monitoring. I plan to become far more progressive with renewable energy technologies (not just the use of but the design of). I am one of these people who insist on taking everything apart and deciding that it would be better if it was designed....my way.
