From Interview to Contract - Pathway that ensured rigor during the hiring process. Teaching Support Program - Provided to all teachers to ensure continuous professional growth, opportunity and empowerment. Mentor Program - Working with existing and potential leaders to provide tools and skills to create a successful team. Developing these programs was highly rewarding and had a measurable impact on staff outlook and on the stabilty of the school.STRENGTH Dealing with CrisisSchool Transition - As Vice Principal there have been several opportunities to work in the role of Acting Principal. On three occasions I filled the role over several months while the Executive Leadership sought a new Principal at several different campus while continuing my role as Vice Principal at my own campus. In addition I have also worked in a supporting role with several incoming Principals, providing school background and overview information, policy information, systems information as well personal support to ensure a smooth transition for the school and the incoming Principal.Covid - During the Covid_19 pandemic, schools were required to adapt to a new and fluid teaching environment. During this time I worked with Teachers and Principals to develop systems that ensured continual, quality learning, ongoing, immediate support for Staff, Students and Parents and Online Tools and Resources that could be bought into teaching practise at a moments notice. The approach that we developed retained the rigor that was not as clearly evident in many other schools at the time, with our approach being praised by parents and other education institutions.
