I am the Engineering Manager at HGH USA with a background in firmware, software and digital hardware development. I ended up doing very poorly and dropping out of college. Living at home and working as a supervisor for about 2 and 1/2 years, I was going nowhere, barely making above minimum wage. It wasn't until I met the love of my life that I realized I was capable of much more. She was driven, strong-willed, top of her class, smart, and inspired me to do the same. I applied to Fresno City college for a fresh start and made a promise to myself that I was going to see it all the way through. I decided to major in computer engineering as I've always had a knack for computers and electronics. I have gained the knowledge and experience to tackle anything that is thrown at me, have an unparalleled work ethic, and am ready and able to work on any task, great or small, that is needed.I have worked on products that specialize in Test and Measurement, Wide Area Surveillance and Thermography. A majority of the applications I've worked on utilize embedded Linux, writing both the firmware and front-end applications for them. I've also spent a great deal of time developing image processing in both C++ and Python and have an extensive knowledge of the WxWidgets GUI framework as well as Tkinter.
