Senior Director, Corporate Safety
CurrentResponsible for overall strategic direction and leadership of all safety initiatives at the Company, including regulatory compliance, EHS policy development and implementation of safety training.Collaborates with key business and functional leaders across the Operations, Engineering, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Security functions to achieve Safety and Risk Management goals.Works closely with outside risk control vendors and consultants.Mentors and develops risk and safety team members.Ensures compliance with a complex landscape of local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing EHS issues.Directs the company’s risk engineering program auditing fire and flood mitigation programs and systems across the portfolio.With each property positioned at the top of its class, Irvine Company's holdings consist of 129 million square feet and include more than 590 office buildings, 125 apartment communities with 65,000 units, 40 retail centers, one coastal resort, three golf courses, and five marinas.
