● Hired to work in the clinic preparation department to improve the delivery of patient notes to various hospitals throughout Northern Ireland. With the number of clinics rising, it was vital to devise a structured rota to ensure that all patient notes were delivered on-time and in the correct format. Dialogue with Management, medical records staff, doctors, and transport staff enabled the team to design a rota which cut turnaround times for repeat patients and ensured that all clinics throughout the country received the oncology patient charts within a strict time to provide all departments with the required preparation time in order to run an efficient clinic. My input in this role led to me successfully obtaining a secondment in the Appointments department.● Duties include: Data Input, chart preparation, adhering to a strict rota, liaising with various members of the administrative, medical and transport team and conducting clinic deliveries throughout the hospital.
