• Preventative Maintenance on sites and fiber routes to maintain network integrity• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of all issues on network assets• Install, upgrade, and repair customer premise equipment• Maintain weekly maintenance and productivity reports and track site PM progress• Turn up and testing on new customer circuits• Training new technicians on equipment, test gear, processes and procedures

• Install and turn up optical systems for long haul data transport• Augment existing systems for expanded capacity• Design and build DS3, DS1, and optical circuits• Provision and troubleshoot new equipment• Work with multiple vendors on new equipment implementations• Coordinate team job assignments and requisition of all project materials• Monitor and maintain project status updates in enterprise database

• Oversee all installation for central and southern Illinois• Coordinate projects with Network Engineering, Network Operations, NetworkManagement Implementation, and Network Management Control• Install, turn up, and test OC-48 and OC-192 city rings• Augment existing systems for expanded capacity• Design and build optical, DS3, and DS1 circuits for testing purposes• Provision and troubleshoot equipment for monitoring purposes to McLeod’s NOC• Develop method and procedure documentation to enhance team productivity

• Build complete Central Office infrastructure for new customer premises• Build and maintain DC power and back-up battery systems• Install fiber optic duct and cable• Crimp and test DS3, RJ, and DB style connectors• Wirewrapping
