I have c.20 years experience of successful stock picking spanning four investment funds and in all equity market environments. From 2008-18, I worked at leading UK boutique Majedie Asset Management, managing and co-managing three equity funds, including the UK Income Fund which I built from start-up to be one of the best performing funds in the sector, with 150% total return in just over six years, +53% relative to the UK all-share index. Following a Masters in Finance qualification at Cambridge University in 2018, I co-founded Iguana Investments with a team of four friends and colleagues. At Iguana, I am CIO of a long/short UCIT equity fund for institutional clients, focused on business transformation investing using a proprietary process of 80% traditional fundamental and 20% more contemporary quantitative analysis. With the fund now more than three years old, this represents the fourth fund that Chris has been involved in with a successful risk/return profile for clients. Outside work I am married with two teenage kids and enjoy sailing, running, playing the piano and endurance cycling. In 2019 I sailed across the Southern Atlantic from Uruguay to Capetown as part of crew on a 70 foot Clipper yacht; and I am currently studying part-time for a PhD in Finance at the internationally top-ranked Edhec business school in France.
