Cfo/TreasurerKillmer Electric Co Jan 2018 - PresentReplacing 32 years of experience isn't easy, but that is what needs to be done at Killmer. The tasks that I am involved with start with very basic ground floor duties to strategic management of the vision of the company. During January 2019, we implemented a new Accounting Software and that has been a major undertaking. The last software was purchased 32 years ago! Now we can more effectively run day to day operations as well as provide reports to management. It's been fun!

I have developed/assisted with many processes that have saved money and time for the company. In concert with Operations, a budgeting program was developed and relied upon to make many of the company decisions. I also oversaw AR/AP/Payroll/Cost Accounting and General Ledger. The consolidated financial statements were audited and had very minimal/no audit adjustments. I also worked with the outside tax preparer to complete the tax return. In the recent years, I was the point of contact for our R&D credit study that saved the company a great deal in taxes.
