Person-Centred counsellor and stroke survivor with experience of bereavement counselling and counselling for carers, which brings a variety of work and experience, including low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and trauma. I have experience of working with clients both face to face and by telephone. Currently working with those suffering with cancer and other life-threatening health conditions.I have a strong belief in the person-centred approach and in particular the use of my empathetic self. I have personal experience of stroke/brain injury, a life changing health condition which i feel adds to my ability to be with those in challenging and distressing situations. I am looking for full or part-time work as a counsellor.
