I am a Licensed Engineer in the states of Texas, Arizona, and Nevada with 16 years of structural building design. I have been with RS&H for over 14 years. Currently, I am the lead structural engineer on various projects in Japan including the progressive collapse design of an 8 story hotel for the DoD and the total building design of a Naval training facility. In addition, I am the lead structural engineer for the training facility for the F22 program moving to Joint Base Langley-Eustis. I am fortunate here at RS&H to be the structural hub for our San Antonio office. As the only structural presence at this location, I have a hand in almost every project that comes through the doors.I have extensive experience in blast mitigation design. This design includes building hardening and progressive collapse mitigation. In addition to blast mitigation for the total building design, I have designed anchorage and glazing calculations for window installers to ensure that the windows and window anchorage meet UFC requirements.
