"How does it work?" is a lifelong question that has driven me. Understanding technology and a fascination with the end user experience has led me to to understand and improve how technology impacts and addresses user and business goals. I work best in a collaborative environment - leading, following, encouraging and supporting my team. Currently I am managing a lean team that provides engineering support and services to a dedicated Fortune500 customer. Working closely with our Technical Account Manager, we implement and manage solutions built on a VMWare platform to provide ERP, Windows Server and Cloud-connected service solutions. We handle scoping, architecture, implementation, maintenance, upgrades and expansions, new services, and acquisition migrations -- all to help enable the customer's strategic goals. I have 30 years experience working with technology and design, including building-from-scratch a small company's technology infrastructure and ever expanding it as the company tripled in size.I have worked with a fast-moving, aggressive startup company that rapidly built value as a ITaaS and PaaS provider and was acquired by my current employer.
