About Chris Ring
Having originally trained in medicine, I pursued a different career, working mainly in mental health service development, practice, and research roles, across a wide range of voluntary and statutory organisations. Qualifying in social work in 1994, I combined practice and research, and taught social work in higher education from 2008 to 2017. Now retired, I've completed a Graduate Certificate in Linguistics (Birkbeck College), and am using this in teaching and associated work in the non-statutory sector.
