Technical Sales Engineers retain existing business by ensuring that all liner hanger products and services are delivered and executed within the required time frame and quality standards, and develop new business for Weatherford by identifying and exploiting market opportunities for all product lines and services provided by Weatherford for the specified Customer Accounts.I have allocated specific customer accounts as delegated by the sales team leader and am responsible for managing these accounts to ensure that the liner hanger product lines and services provided by Weatherford before & after the work has been contracted are supplied & serviced to a high standard .As part of the customer account allocation I am expected to arrange and fully participate in customer entertaining events within and out with allocated accounts. The role is measured by the accurate fulfilment of contracted specification and/or requirements and the generation of new/repeated business through provision of a high level of customer interaction & service.

Later merged by acquisition by Schlumberger.• Develop and maintain customer relationships and technical support to both internal and external customers for the Liner Hanger/Completion product line• Assist with Liner Hanger/Completion job planning and execution• Promote and sell Liner Hanger/Completion products and services to existing or new customers• Assist with timely ordering of equipment for stock holding and client orders• Provide technical support as necessary to the Quotations Specialist in the formation of tenders and quotations for the Liner Hanger/Completions Product line• Compile procedures with approval from operations and ensure they are logged into the Smith QMS• Handles special projects as assigned

The Technical Planner' primary role is to manage the job review and preparation process and associated paperwork to ensure that all technical equipment is selected allocated or ordered for any given job whilst complying with the company and customer policies. The position is responsible for controlling, co-coordinating, planning and preparing all Statement of Requirements
