Later as a part of IT I led a team that successfully deployed a data warehouse solution that reported daily sales and inventory data accurately across key sites on a daily basis. After observing continued material shortages that stopped production I conceptualized, designed and led development of a material pull system that saved in excess of $10M in our first two years and reduced shortages significantly – this pull system is still in operation today. Designed and deployed applications that helped solve materials management issues such as: determining Clear to Release, Assemble to Order, Engineering vs. Manufacturing BOM differences. Became Lean Expert focused on Supply Chain Operations improvements using Six Sigma processes driving continuous improvement programs and strategy.
