In the summer of 2004, I interned at AIG in there Research & Development (R&D) and new products and services department. During this time, I did research on the landscape and competition of our current service offerings. I completed an extensive investigation and analysis the risk and demand for a new wave of coverages and expansion of existing lines of insurance, which are now currently being offered by several insurance companies. My experience at AIG was the motivation to write my thesis on the role of cost benefit analysis in government regulation and the value of a statistical live.
