Designed, built, and led a muti-discipline global data organization aligned under ResMed’s Platform Engineering team. Our primary product, the GDP (Global Data Platform), is a centralized Source of Truth designed around self-service automation. It was purpose built to feed a growing appetite for augmented analytics and data science use cases. Our primary engineering areas of focus are Publication, Access, Consumption, Discoverability, Observability, Data Quality, and Governance and our KPIs were formed around score-carded metrics in those areas.• Built, evolved, and supported our primary data platform technologies – including Kafka, S3 (Airflow, Glue, and Lambda), and Snowflake.• Participated meaningfully in business & technical discussions to ensure utilization of the best possible technologies and approaches to advance our data discovery, quality, metric standardization, and machine learning capabilities.• Built and drive industry best practices for data security and privacy -- worked closely with Privacy on GDPR data measures, as well as a CNIL submission for approval of our EU based Data Warehouse.• Provided patterns for operational excellence (full end to end observability) and implement processes and policies to facilitate and support our massive growth• Defined and executed Data Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)• Set vision for innovation and data technology adoption, including the merging of the legacy data platform teams, governance, analytics, and data strategy into a single, high-functioning organization.• Sourced, hired, and led talented people into leadership, engineering, development, product management, analytics, quality, and observability roles.

Providing executive-level direction for the design, development, and support of a streaming data and analytics platform, I oversee product data solution design.
