Duties include all aspects of the Dr. Ed. Department. Budgeting, inventories, state compliance, and maintenance of our cars and simulator. Teaching duties include the implementation of the State of Virginia’s new curriculum (2002) and all 4 phases of our Driver Education program (classroom, simulation, range, and behind the wheel). I stopped coaching in 2006 to focus on becoming a DSA. Until then I was the assistant head football coach in charge of the defensive line and administrative duties for our football program from 2002. I also have been co-sponsor of two classes (2003 & 2006). In 2002 I also started helping the Director of Student Activities as one of his two assistants. My duties have included managing of events, scheduling for teams and officials, budgeting, and use of our “Schedule Star” internet based system. 2008-2009 I was the United Way organizer for Hermitage.

Hermitage High School

Responsible for all of the interscholastic athletic programs as well as all excurricular organizations at Hermitage High School

I was the Teacher in a class of ED-Conduct disorder High School Students and in charge of their core academic subjects. During this time I was also one of the males on campus responsible for restraining and transporting out of control students. My second year at VA Randolph I was an assistant in the elementary version of the Conduct Disorder class. Responsibilities included supervision of students, keeping student’s on-task, and some evaluation of work. I also worked as a Junior Varsity Football coach at Mills Godwin High School.

My teaching duties included developing lesson plans for my Integrated Math I & II students, evaluating students, reviewing IEPs for my case load, and integrating technology into the classroom. I have had several other duties besides my teaching responsibilities while at Hermitage. I have been a head coach at both the varsity (soccer) and JV (football) levels. Currently the Assistant Head Coach for the Football team. From 1999-2002 I was an administrative aide at Hermitage. Some of my duties included 9th grade discipline, school bus issues, the schools locker system, our Saturday ALC program, and representing Hermitage as an administrator at many school functions. I have also worked as an athletic supervisor for the girl and boy’s soccer matches for the past three years. I also Co-sponsored the class of 2003. I was involved in the fundraising, organizing, and production of the 2002 Junior-Senior prom.

My students at New Kent included 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade ED and LD self-contained students. I was responsible for all core academic subjects, evaluating students, all of the classes IEPs, and the annual testing of my students. I also worked as an assistant football coach and the head varsity soccer coach at New Kent High School.
