About Chris Roy

Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Strategy & Operations (S&O) has embarked on a mission to improve commercial agility and productivity. With a global employee base of ~60K, it is imperative that we effectively manage change to remain competitive and innovative. While change is inevitable, good change management requires intention. With deep connections across the regions and working in close partnership with segment business leaders, I am responsible for defining the change and adoption strategies to serve our enterprise customers and partners more effectively, efficiently, and with competitive differentiation across the world.Prior to my Change Management role, I have spent the last 4 years in the Mid-Market (SMC) Strategy and Programs team. My roles and responsibilities have been focused on global strategy and landing of a pivot to Industry, growing our Unified Support business and new customer acquisition of the Microsoft Clouds – Azure, Office 365 and Dynamics 365. Spending time with customers to understand where Microsoft has gaps in our existing strategy, highlighting the value of moving to the cloud and then working across different Microsoft teams (sales, partners, marketing, etc) to address these concerns & challenges. That role allowed me to influence new programs, events and sales incentives to ensure that Microsoft continues to grow our cloud based business. I also spent over 4 years, providing learning solutions to companies around the globe, helping them improve their businesses by realizing IT training opportunities. I built innovative teams that invests in learning models that deliver effective, accessible and personalized solutions. I have always been responsible for evangelizing and gaining agreement with internal stakeholders on a set of shared commitments and or wins, as well as seeking alignment for driving our overall strategy. I am also accountable for cross organizational communications that reflect the priorities, expectations and plans for key groups across Microsoft and for delivering against an evolution of our business plan.
