• Organized and catalogued new materials that acquired by the library to allow the academic community to access material• Conducted reference interviews with patrons in order to help them understand what information they are looking for and then assist them in locating the materials• Edited a server manual that was written for other staff members to use for uploading and formatting statistical data for the academic community to access

• Assisted the Technical Specialist with computer/printer installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for staff and faculty computers • Helped disconnect and reconnect all computers and equipment in a timely manner for Academic Counseling and Management and Organizational Studies (MOS) departments when their faculty and staff offices were moved to new locations in the Social Science building

• Migrated over 300 computers from one network to another in the Faculty of Social Science. This involved backing up the user data, software reconfiguration of the computer, connection to the new network, and restoration of the user’s data. The project was completed ahead of schedule to the satisfaction of management • Transferred over a dozen department websites from one server to another in the Faculty of Social Science. This required changes to web links, file locations and permissions, and setting up secure access for certain departmental websites using Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

• Provided technical assistance to students, staff, and faculty for a wide range of software programs and the use of Social Science network resources• Trained other student assistants in the above duties, as well as opening and closing security procedures for the computer laboratories• Assisted the Technical Specialist with computer and printer maintenance and installation
