With 20+ years experience in technology management I am an IT practitioner with a deep understanding of IT Service Operations with proven experience as a leader, manager and coach. My career has focused on IT service delivery, developing information technology process improvements and transformation strategies that have delivered significant technology operational improvements and business benefits to some of the largest New Zealand and Australian enterprises. During my IT career I have worked for technology outsource vendors and companies consuming vendor delivered services.In making and being part of various service improvement transformational processes, I have lead a wide range of IT delivery teams ranging from IT operations, service desk, desk side, field engineering and other technology staff including mainframe teams, DBA’s and server support staff. With a solid history in technology management and advanced commercial, strategic sourcing and vendor management knowledge strengths, I am able to develop and implement:- Service delivery improvement strategies for IT systems including developing and implementing vendor delivery plans for new and existing IT systems & technology projects;- Creating and leading a strong positive technology team;- Logical vendor management strategies.
