I perform structural analysis of major primary structure for the 777X aircraft, including the Main Landing Gear Beam and Inboard Spoiler Beam. I collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to implement design changes to parts to meet structural requirements. I generate static and fatigue loads for the 777X wing edges using the Patran and Nastran FEA software.Additionally, I act as the structural analysis focal for the safe life testing of the 777X Main Landing Gear Beam. In this role, I collaborate with the testing team to ensure that the part is effectively certified, make updates to the test plan, address issues that occur during test, and analyze/document test results.

I currently work in the Wing to Body Join group for the 777 and 777X aircraft at Boeing. I design the predictive shims for the 777X aircraft, and collaborate with other groups to help improve this process. I support the equipment used in the join of both of these aircraft. I support emergent issues that arise regarding both equipment and processes.I previously worked to address build issues for the 777X aircraft in the Final Assembly and Flight Line areas of the factory. Provided Manufacturing Operations with assistance for emergent roadblocks and systematic issues that affected the build of the aircraft. Collaborated with other stakeholders to determine the best sequence that work should be performed on flight test aircraft, and addressed issues that were preventing that work from being completed. Provided Quality Assurance with data analysis and computer-aided aircraft visualizations to assist with their planning of flight test process monitoring jobs that needed to be completed.

I supported the evaluation, integration, and maintenance of the Panel Paint system at the Boeing 777X Composite Wing Center. I performed testing of the various equipment to ensure that it was acceptable for production use and to look for improvements that could be made. I participated in the integration of robotic painting into the Panel Paint System. Investigated engineering changes to improve safety, maintainability, reliability, quality, and to meet regulator requirements. Developed and implemented solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment. Trained on operators on the proper use of the equipment in the Panel Paint System. Created and maintained documentation for the equipment.

I assisted in research involving nondestructive evaluation of materials. I have built a GUI using MATLAB that allows users to easily analyze the data collected using ultrasonic testing, in order to find the locations of damage in materials. I have also performed ultrasonic testing, data analysis, composite manufacturing, and modeled components using SolidWorks and Abaqus in this position.

I performed vibration testing of sensors under various conditions. I then documented and analyzed the results.

I met weekly with a group of engineering students and tutored them in physics. I went over material, helped them solve practice problems, and answered questions. We covered a variety of subjects, including fluids, waves, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism.
