I have spent the last almost 7 years as deskside support. I am responsible for on average 700 people and about 1000 computers. I have been involved in many projects including upgrading to windows 7 and the upgrade to windows 10. Each of the windows upgrade projects involving hands on activity with all computers on site. I have also done PC refresh 4 times now (1 per year) which involved upgrading roughly 350 computers per refresh. I have also been responsible for building unique PC's for station specific functions, which involved working with the project team for troubleshooting as well as development and testing. Aside from the computer aspect I have been involved with introducing 3d printing at the site as well as testing out specialized drones for flying inside of nuclear power plants.
