Responsible for leading a crew or supporting and assisting the project foreman at each job site. Tasks included pond & masonry installation, tree installation, and general yard maintenance. Required to work as a team, and employ proper construction techniques as well as ingenuity, in a timely and safe manner while producing a high quality product for the customer.

Responsible for providing full Phase 1 environmental assessments of industrial, commercial, and residential properties for future sale. Performed an exhaustive individual desktop investigation on the property as well as coordinate with the local government/services for further inquiry into past use and activity on the property. Also required to perform a personal Site Assessment to physically search for signs of past/current use or environmental concern. Position called for a combination of sound scientific understanding of and intuition for the types of properties and particular conditions being investigated; as well as great communication and people skills in order to discover and locate all information possible about the property in order to provide an accurate assessment.

Worked in the field alongside other engineers and field technicians to monitor, sample, and maintain several hazardous waste sites in the Western New York area. Also worked with the chemistry and data management groups and was responsible for overseeing and processing the data and invoices for the many large corporations. Position required great attention to detail because the invoices and data were for multi-national companies and required they be updated immediately as the information was released and was the only person with this responsibility. It also required great organization and time management because each day of the week had a different task required to be completed at each of the different sites in order to maintain their integrity in addition to the data management. Entirely responsible for organizing and maintaining students’ grades as well as teaching two, two hour long labs for UB’s Introduction to Engineering class during the fall semester (475 students). Also responsible for tutoring students in both calculus and physics as part of a group-study type class called “small groups” during the spring semester. Position required excellent communication and organization skills: in order to convey and introduce the information/assignments to the international collection of students in the class while ensuring understanding, as well as collecting and maintaining the weekly grades for the entire class and ensuring their accuracy and safety.
