I combine my technical, analytical, data and organizational skills to be a uniquely qualified IT Project Manager.As a reporting lead early in my career, I developed a passion for OLAP databases. I took every opportunity to learn the technology and it culminated in earning the MCTS - SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance Certification.In my next position, I had the fortunate opportunity to redesign the entire analytics architecture for a large consumer goods company. It was a huge success. In my exit interview years later, the CIO told me that my redesign was the best thing that happened to the IT department. The analytics architecture was organized, logical and the entire team was able to understand the Data Warehouse and Cubes.I took that technical knowledge to Nestle Waters. There I was known as the technical guy. Over time I asked to take more of an analyst role. They needed someone to be able to communicate with the business and turn their requirements into reality. I solved business problems and was given the difficult and important projects. I then took a role on an eCommerce Digital Transformation project. While the development team was still building the transformation code, I found myself coding and delivering data sets to meet agile milestones. I became the data subject matter expert, and by the end of the project I was in charge of all the data mapping, conversion, and migration for the entire project.Nestle Waters was sold to One Rock Capital who named the new company BlueTriton Brands. I was put on the Non SAP Data Conversion and Migration team. ~500 applications, ~2700 databases and data files from ~30 locations. Every week the consulting team would create a new Power Point slide to say how great they were doing, yet I didn't see any progress. I informed my boss of my observations and told her what I would do to fix it. I was leading the team within a week.I organized projects as if I was building a data model. I built a small analytical database. I had all my metadata tied together with keys. I had the lowest level of detail mapped, yet could discuss status at any level of the information hierarchy depending on who my audience was. My cutover plans were adopted by the entire project. I delivered 100% of the data 100% on time.
