Responsible for Skilled, Intermediate Care, Assisted Living, Residential Living, Independent Living, Rehab, and Clinical billing. Process of direct deposits, cash receipts, and account balancing. Broad knowledge and use of General Ledgers, Microsoft Office, Medicare A and B cost reports, Navinet, Ability, SOS, and Practice Manager.High interactions with residents and their families both in person as well as over the phone.Responsible for the process and re-billing of daily census' to assure billing accuracy, all ancillary charge input, invoice set-up, as well as both electronic and paper submissions of Medicare parts A, B and third party billing. Correspond with contracted companies to guarantee billing precision. Daily interaction with other on campus employees with questions and/or concerns. Responsible for insurance verification, month end closing of both SOS and Practice Manager, submission of resident statements, 1500's and UB-92's.Follow-up and collection of outstanding balances.Follow up with other departments to obtain necessary paper work for resident charts. Preparation for quarterly screening audits of both Medicare A and B, and attends final day meeting of findings.I am a member of both the Diversity Team committee and Safety committee.
