I held the job of Development Manager for the Beachgrove (Kaiapoi, Canterbury). In my time at Beachgrove I consented 187 lots, masterplanned 300 and took 48 through construction to title.I managed the 'end to end' development including masterplanning, consenting, feasibility, commercial, procurement and contract management, titling, sales and marketing.I loved working across all aspects of project, making the plans and bringing them to life with the team.

I was privileged to lead the South Island Infrastructure business of 80 Civil Engineers and Surveyors across our 3 main hubs of Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown. I loved helping the team develop and realise their aspirations. My role was Section (Business unit) Manager responsible for all operations, strategy, client relationship/business development and profitability.

My role here started as a site Surveyor/Field engineer for the construction of the Stanmore 3rd Platform (20M GPB), progressing to Senior Field Engineer, then Construction Manager for the final year.

Taupo, Waikato, New Zealand

3 great years in Taupo, learning the profession of land surveying. From topographic surveying, engineering, precise monitoring, cadastral and cutting my teeth on land development projects. My role here consisted of working with clients to take their subdivision projects through from concept to market. I became professionally accredited as a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor before heading to England for international experience.
