Worked in the building and property industry since 1999, starting out as an Assistant Building Surveyor in the private sector. Working on certification and compliance audits on a variety of residential and commercial projects, I have a strong understanding of the Building Regulations, National Construction Code (NCC) compliance and requirements for maintenance of buildings to these requirements.I have worked on a wide variety of commercial, industrial, tertiary, local government and manufacturing facilities conducting passive essential safety measures inspections, initial hazard assessments and working with clients address queries of compliance with their various statutory obligations, particularly in the area of safety measures (fire safety) compliance.For the last 2 years, managed the service delivery compliance, technical training of internal staff members, training/education sessions to clients and delivery of presentations to external organisations covering all aspects of safety measures compliance at a national level. I have a strong detailed understanding of the legislative requirements in each state and territory and how they relate to all stakeholders with responsibilities for the safety of buildings.Currently FPAS accredited fire safety assessor (transitional) with the ability of assist owners in satisfying their statutory obligations for NSW Annual Fire Safety Statements.
