Other responsibilities include hands-on testing of coatings for development and failure analysis, contributing to large scale lean six sigma projects, manufacturing optimization, external supplier qualifications, and long-term warranty failure analysis and reduction. I worked in a large franchise fast-food kitchen setting as a "Crew Member." I had to conform to many strict health and cleanliness standards as well as maintain a high level of quality of product while being very fast and efficient. I quickly took on a leadership role in the kitchen guiding and teaching newer employees more efficient ways of performing common tasks. I had also suggested a new way of performing tasks to my managers and one of them is used over the old technique. While working, I continually tried to come up with easier, safer, and quicker ways of getting the same amount of work done while preserving quality and standards. I quickly became friends with many of the workers there and developed a good reputation for being a hard working and reliable employee.
