Chris is CEO of Maredi Telecoms. He has a broad range of experience in Telecoms, IT and Manufacturing sectors. With the acquisition of PDEV, Maredi now offers a wider range of integrated ICT services to it's clients. Previously Chris was the CEO of PDEV which is now a subsidiary of Maredi. Chris is a founder member of PDEV and has lead enterprise-wide projects that require the integration of both technologies. Before forming PDev Chris was the Operations Director of outsourcing company Cosis, providing logistical services and support to clients rolling out infrastructure on the African continent. Cosis also provided accounts payable, accounts receivable and administration services in the telecoms industry. Chris has provided Strategic IT Advisory Services to companies such as BP(SA) and Spoornet based on his experience and background on implementing and working on ERP systems such as SAP, JDE and BAAN. Chris’ extensive CV also includes a senior management position for the Strategy and Operations competency divisions at Deloitte Consulting, where he was the Subject Matter Expert in Shared Services Centres (SSC), Business Process Outsourcing and Re-engineering. Further experiences include Quality Assurance on SAP implementations, leveraging existing SSC’s running SAP, restructuring and performing feasibility studies for various companies such as BHP Billiton, Anglo Platinum, Harmony and De Beers. Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting Chris was the Project Manager at SABMiller, responsible for the successful set-up and implementation of an internationally recognised Shared Services Centre together with a SAP implementation. Due to the success of the SSC, Chris was invited to speak at conferences locally and in the USA. Prior to SABMiller he worked at Barloworld divisions in the positions of Business Systems Manager, Operations Manager and Group Operations Analyst.
