I loaded server 2003, 2008, and 2012 on servers. Installed and managed DHCP, IIS, Print Servers, Backup Exec and Active Directory to name a few. I linked users to the exchange console to give them email, then I dabbled in exchange to set/restrict mobile email, manage mailbox size, etc;I unboxed and imaged PC's, then installed the necessities for the particular user. I also made sure the port in the wall is patched to a switch port and on the right VLAN (Cisco equipment). Installed the PC, set users profile up after they logged in, and made sure everything works before leaving the room.Installed and maintained local in house work order system (Spiceworks). Users placed tickets through the customized interface online and the techs completed the work orders as they came in.My job scope ranged anywhere from maintaining servers, granting user access, rolling out HUGE projects, installing PC's, fixing printers, all the way to resetting passwords for users and other level 1 support. For 3 years, I was the only tech at Heart of Lancaster, as the director trusted me and gave me free reign. I have kind of been doing a systems admin job for 3 years, I just didn't have that title.
