Demonstrating a collaborative approach to solution development that reflects the needs of our diverse audience and stakeholders. Using both objective and subjective data points we make informed decisions to develop roadmaps, enhance offerings and when needed decide when to remove offerings.Over a two-year period (2019-2020) decreased our bounce rate by 45%, reduced pages per session by 31% and reduced the time spent each intranet session by 25%. These data points reflect an intranet experience that has been optimized to get end-users the information and resources they need with less clicks and less time spent reading, resulting in more time spent performing their job.Migrated and integrated our Canadian business units intranet into our U.S. based intranet to form a truly North American intranet experience. This greatly reduced the duplication of content between the U.S. and Canada, brought multi-lingual support to our intranet and resulted in an information architecture that optimized content that was truly North American, but provided autonomy to the Canadian business for content that is exclusively for Canada employees.

Key AccomplishmentsCo-led the effort to upgrade and enhance McKesson's intranet from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online. Introduced full mobile support, a streamline information architecture, a clean and modern interface and Google Tag Manager.Implemented and managed a query-based distribution lists tool, enabling the business to build smart and dynamic distribution lists that are automatically updated each day.Served as the Product Owner for the intranet, which established a strong and collaborative partnership between technology and communications. We focused on developing a product roadmap and delivering value to end-users and stakeholders by adding enhancements to the platform. Though Scaled Agile and continuous improvement we were able to rapidly enhance our intranet platform to meet a demand that was otherwise not possible with the software as delivered by the vendor. These enhancements include custom components, systems integrations, design and configuration templates and site provisioning tools.

Provided Tier 1 support for HR, which included organizing, publishing and promoting all HR content to on the intranet. Managed the production queue for the companies intranet by fielding and executing customer requests. This included publishing and editing content, promoting content and training content producers in other business functions.Led content audit efforts of key intranet sections to help stakeholders maximize the value of their content and worked with end users to reduce friction while consuming content.

Developed a web-based mobile application built with HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery Mobile, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. The application places information critical to travelers right at their fingertips anytime and anywhere. Optimization was achieved via coding and multimedia best practices to provide a fast and frictionless experience for end users.Custom SharePoint site development primarily using the SharePoint JavaScript Object Model as a platform to create custom experiences and functionality within a site and its web parts that simply were not possible with out of the box options.Using the advanced features of Adobe After Effects and collaborating with key stakeholders, I created an effective and informative video that was used to define a team and their business model within the organization.

Responsibilities included the operation of the companies IT & web infrastructure, server & database operations, and employee technical support.Key Projects:Moved the business from a sales tracking Excel workbook to a web-based application. This enabled company-wide reporting and analytics, improved security and access and provided partners with real-time data to manage their operations. Managed the stores photo department and shipping center. This included managing a team of photo technicians and store associates.
