Responsibilities include:- Produced 5-year Group Business Plan linking strategic objectives to financial and operational targets. Facilitated workshops to map SUN financial data into SAP. Carried out user testing on SAP finance front end- Acted as the finance lead for a new treasury management system (Salmon) including needs analysis, testing and implementation - Reported on Group wide revenue and non-revenue Capex schemes up to £50m liaising directly with engineers to understand and challenge any variances in expenditure

Responsibilities included:- Preparing monthly management accounts including general ledger account reconciliations, bank reconciliations and posting journals- Producing VAT returns for Head Office monthly, including providing detailed commentary on variances for Group Taxation Manager- Assumed full responsibility for two subsidiary companies within the Group, ensuring timely posting of monthly journals, providing analysis on key moments within the month and completion of statutory packs together with commentary- Led a project reviewing internal recharges and intracompany postings across the Group and investigated variances with regional finance teams- Completed tax system (iXBRL Alphatax) training and the tagging of the annual accounts for all companies and subsidiaries within the Group- Completed several surveys for the Office of National Statistics including the annual business survey and the low carbon and renewable energy economy survey- Obtained professional experience to qualify as a Chartered Management Accountant
