I Plan maintenance downtime around a 24/7 continuous production process. I work with outside contractors and Vendors to assist with maintaining, improving and growing our manufacturing environment. I supervise planning to assure that we have parts for our routine PM program, and for project completion. During my time in this role I completed my PCQI certification through AiB to ensure that what I do has no harmful effect to our products or our processes. I utilize SAP ‘s maintenance module to assign work orders daily to 40 + technicians in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. I also conduct weekly planning meetings with our production management team to address current and upcoming repair needs in our facility to utilize sanitation downtime events to make our production turn around as seemless as possible. I emphasize and take pride in building working relationships with all departments in our facility so that maintenance works harmoniously as a valued partner instead of an unwanted need.

Oversee Technicians during our 12 hour shift. Act as a technical resource for both mechanical and electrical issues as they arose. I was in charge of making sure my technicians worked safely utilizing LOTO, safety harnesses, confined space entry techniques. During my time in this position I planned maintenace shutdowns, created work orders ,developed KPI reports to track PM completion, and made sure we had all parts and resources to successfully achieve plants shutdown objectives. I was the vendor/contractor liaison for my plant. In my role I was able improve equipment efficiency utilizing reverse engineering to overcome critical failures. I also acted as a back up to the Maintenance Manager and had purchasing power to assist procurement for sensitive technical issues.
