Recipient of the Delray Beach Historic Preservation Board’sExcellence In Historic Preservation and Design – Residential Additions & Renovations 2010 Project coordination and management covering all aspects of exterior lifestyle including landscape, low voltage landscape lighting, outdoor audio, hardscape, pool design, fire pits, water features, irrigation and fencing for new construction or a complete exterior renovation.Chris Simon spent 7-8 years working with Rob Barron Coastal Management helping to establish and rebuild much of the areas coastline, dunes and coastal hammocks. During this time assisted in the development of a salt tolerant nursery and help repopulate some of the endangered plant species along our areas coastal dunes and hammocks.Since then Chris has gone on to working on various projects within the residential and commercial side of landscape.After a few years working for local landscape design companies All Florida Trees, Inc was established. The focus of the business was the renovation of exterior spaces. Design included a range of styles all with attention to balance, color/texture, functionality and light. Components included plant material with awareness of native species inclusion, hardscape, lighting and pool integration.Chris has since found a place with a well respected landscape architectural firm that can expand the level of knowledge, experience and capabilities as design is as much about learning as it is about implementing.
