Chris Slater is Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA), PepsiCo’s largest and most profitable operating division. In this role, he is responsible for leading Frito-Lay and Quaker's long-term strategic planning process related to growth acceleration, category expansion, M&A, and partnerships. Chris brings over a decade of industry, consulting, and banking experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector to PepsiCo.Prior to joining PepsiCo, Chris served as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. As a leader in the Firm’s Consumer Practice, he drove substantial and lasting performance improvements in areas such as Revenue Growth Management (pricing, promotions, assortment, trade), Personalized Marketing, Sales, and Growth Strategy. During his tenure, he also helped lead McKinsey’s knowledge agenda for Sales & In-store Execution and Consumer Digital & Analytics Transformation.Chris started his career with JPMorgan Chase as a Middle Market deal team member, providing debt capital markets and cash management solutions to public/private companies with revenues from $50M - $1B.
